I've spent years designing homes, renovating spaces, staging properties, and finding beautiful things. And along the way, I've learned something:

Living beautifully isn't about having the biggest house or the biggest budget.

It's about creating a home that feels collected, personal - and completely yours.

So, today I’m going to share three basic designs to keep in mind this fall:

1. Mix Old with New.

The most interesting homes evolve over time. Old gives new character. New gives old a fresh perspective. Your home should tell a story!

2. Use the Good Stuff.

Pizza tastes even better on china! Don't fill your home with beautiful things you're afraid to use. Fill it with things you love, and then live with them.

3. Beautiful Interiors Are Collected, Not Coordinated.

Mix periods. Mix finishes. Mix price points. Put the beautiful antique next to something completely modern. The things you've collected- that's what gives a home personality.
